The first season of the competition, which aims to promote regional teams and broadcasters will kick off on December 7 with 16 teams fighting it out for their share of a $30.000 prize pool. The attended teams will be split into four groups with the GSL group system and will play bo1 opening matches. From there, the remaining matches will be played in a bo3 format, with the two best teams from each group advancing to the playoffs.

The eight teams coming out of the groups will meet each other in a single-elimination, bo3 bracket for the $17.500 first-place prize, which will be awarded to the winner of the grand final that is scheduled to start on December 20.
