The new Team Vitality proved once again, that they are a team to watch in this season. The two new Danes, Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, and Emil "Magisk" Reif has slotted well into the roster.

On the other side of the server, MOUZ looked to continue their solid run at the Play-in, where their stand-in Jon "JDC" de Castro did excellently to fill the gap after Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras.

Vertigo laid space for the first map. Here the two teams played out a super close map, that had to be decided in double overtime. Here Vitality prevailed with Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut and Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen as a lethal duo dropping 82 kills combined.

MOUZ needed to steal Inferno to stay alive in the match. A tough ask for the roster that recently lost 16-10 on the map to FaZe in the Play-in. But once again the match turned into a brawl. David 'frozen' Čerňanský came alive in the first half that finished with a spectacular 4k from Ádám 'torzsi' Torzsás.

MOUZ found the momentum in the middle of the map where they hauled in nine rounds in a row before Vitality had an answer and then the momentum shifted once again. The French/Danish squad regained the lead at 14-13 but could not close out the map leading to another overtime.

This time MOUZ went furthest and took a 19-17 win with good help from a fantastic Ádám 'torzsi' Torzsás.

Just as close as the two first maps had been, just as one-sided was the first half of Nuke. Vitality seemed on fire from the get-go and MOUZ were left stunned. Suffocating the offense of a young MOUZ roster, the Danish and French combination went to halftime at the impressive scoreline of 14-1. MOUZ managed to claw back enough rounds to make the comeback seem somewhat plausible. Ultimately, however, it was too late and Vitality could claim victory against MOUZ on Nuke at 16-10.
