Sydney to host IEM Fall in October
The Counter-Strike circuit returns to Sydney for the first time in four years.
The last IEM tournament of the year has been announced. Sydney will host the tournament for the first time since 2019.
16 teams will participate in the tournament which will feature a $250,000 prize pool, while the winner will secure a spot at the next IEM Championship Event in 2024. In the last iteration of the tournament, Team Liquid won the Grand Final against Fnatic 3-2. At this year's tournament, the Grand Final will be a best-of-three match.
There are five open qualification spots for the tournament, while the remaining eleven teams will be invited or picked via the ESL World Ranking.
The regional qualifiers will take place in August.
