One of the most decorated French players in Counter-Strike history, Richard “shox” Papillon, has announced his intention to establish a new French CS:GO team with the focus of making it to the biggest stage in CS:GO at the Paris Major later this year. The 30-year-old Frenchman who has several Top 20 placings in HLTV’s World Player Ranking and a Major under his belt, hopes that the French-themed squad will succeed in their approach to the game, which is the style of CS:GO that he believes in.

The French veteran has throughout his career played with some of Counter-Strike’s biggest legends such as Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut and Kenny “KennyS” Schrub, winning trophies in almost every team he’s been playing for. With the rumors circulating regarding a reunion of some of the top players from French Counter-Strike, this might be its very first step.
