The Russian AWPer explains their performance in the playoffs at IEM Katowice was affected by the conflict and they were unable to perform at their best.

sh1ro, who now plays under the Cloud9 banner, said, 

“No doubt it [the war breaking out in Ukraine] had a big impact on all of us. We were shocked and our level of play in the playoffs was a proof of that. We couldn’t think about the game at that moment.”
