Sensational Brits secure qualification for Paris Major
Today Into the Breach became the first team with a majority of British players to qualify for a Major.
A new chapter in British competitive Counter-Strike was written today, as Into the Breach secured qualification for the BLAST.tv Paris Major next month with a victory against B8.
The sensational qualification came after an impressive run in Copenhagen, where the roster has performed above anything else we have seen from the three Englishmen, Pole, and Dutchman that have only played together as a team for two months.
Into the Breach beat Virtus.pro, Sprout and lastly B8 to qualify, while losing narrowly to Natus Vincere in the first round. In the last match against B8, it took all three maps for ITB to secure the impressive 2-1 win. Cai 'CYPHER' Watson was once again one of the frontrunners for ITB in today’s match. The Englishman have been playing outstandingly well during the RMR tournament in Copenhagen.
NB! Initially ITB thought they were qualified as Legends, but BLAST has not yet confirmed this.

GamerLegion could also celebrate after they secured a ticket to Paris with a 2-1 win against Falcons and Kenny "kennyS" Schrub. The two teams started out by winning each other’s map picks, which left them with Mirage as the decider. Here GamerLegion was the better team and is now through to the second Major in a row. GamerLegion will face Bad News Eagles in a playoff match for Legends Status.
Both B8 and Falcons will have a last shot at qualifying tomorrow.
