Up for sale! regali and company benched by Entropiq
Due to Valve's recent changes to the Major qualification, the lineup only got to play eight matches together.
Entropiq have announced the benching of their entire Counter-Strike roster less than two months after its creation.
The reason behind the drastic decision is Valve’s recent changes to the qualification format for the Major, the Czech organization explains in a statement.
- After careful consideration, we’ve made difficult decision to place our CS2 roster on the bench. This is due to changes in Valves ruling for Major quali that made us unable to take part in. We'd like to thank the players for their efforts and wish them GL in their future career.
Last month, Valve proclaimed a significant change to the Major rulebook stating there will be no open qualifiers for the Major. Instead, all the participants for the closed qualifier will be determined by Valve’s own world ranking.
Something that now has forced Entropiq to bench their entire roster, which featured prominent names such as star AWPer Iulian "regali" Harjău, former Astralis rifler Christian "Buzz" Andersen and Dion “FASHR” Derksen.
Entropiq's benched roster:
Tizian "tiziaN" Feldbusch
Max "Marix" Kugener
Christian "Buzz" Andersen
Iulian "regali" Harjău
Dion "FASHR" Derksen
Łukasz "mwlky" Pachucki
