s1mple join Falcons on loan
In a surprising move, Falcons have loaned Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyljev to replace Mohammad "BOROS" Malhas.
The failed qualification for the Copenhagen Major has sparked an immediate roster change at Team Falcons.
The Saudi-backed Organization announced the loan of the best player of the CS:GO era, Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyljev. The Ukrainian had been on voluntary leave from NAVI since the launch of CS2. Now the Ukrainian joins Falcons, where he will replace Mohammad "BOROS" Malhas. So far the loan is just one month long.
After the announcement, s1mple tweeted:
- That was quick; thank you NAVI for opportunity, let’s see what happens next.
Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyljev was named the best player in the world three times during the CS:GO era, but has not played a competitive match since the 1st of October 2023. In the next month, Falcons will play at the BLAST Premier Showdown event taking place from March 6th-10th.
