Russian youngsters defeat mousesports in the lower bracket
Gambit eliminates mouseports at IEM Katowice, owing to a dominant showing by the CIS team.
The youngest CS:GO roster on the Top 30 world ranking belongs to Gambit, with their modest average age of 20.4. Even though being a young and inexperienced team, the Russian youngsters have proved their worth on the top of CS:GO, and today they took down mousesports in the lower bracket at IEM Katowice.
In the matchup, Gambit had to rise from their crushing 2-0 defeat yesterday against EG, which were exactly what they did. The strong performance by the Russian side was heavily orchestrated by the strong and promising duo of Dmitry ”sh1ro” Sokolov and Sergey 'Ax1Le' Rykhtorov, who both stepped up and brought home the victory for Gambit.
