Russian giants eliminate NiKo and company from BLAST Premier Global Final
s1mple shines once again in confident NAVI victory against G2 in the lower semi-final.
The dominant CIS team Natus Vincere showed no mercy in tonight’s elimination matchup against G2, handing the French-Balkan team a severe 2-0 defeat. NAVI dominated the match from the very start, with the Russians benefitting from a smart and clear punish-pick in Train as the first map. Nikola “NiKo” Kovac and the rest of G2 couldn’t come back from the crushing 16-6 defeat in the first map, and the iconic team suffered a likewise beating on their own map pick of Mirage.
With the win NAVI continues through the lower bracket, having to play against the well-playing Liquid-side in the vital lower final, while on the other hand, G2 has to leave the tournament early.
