Prominent organization return to CS:GO in 2023
A new heavy-hitter could be on the rise for next year with TSM set to make a comeback to CS:GO.
TSM, formerly known as Team SoloMid, will make a return to competitive Counter-Strike next year, the American organization announced via their Twitter. The org has revealed its plan to build a CS:GO team based in Europe, also hoping to get partnership deals with ESL and BLAST, Dominic Kallas, VP of Esports TSM explains in a statement.
- We are not looking to go out and buy a top 5 team. I will spend a significant amount of time in Europe, looking and working with a local GM to help build a roster and infrastructure necessary for this team to succeed. We have already started discussions with ESL and BLAST about how TSM can be successful within Europe through long-term partnerships. We have a lot of work to do, and a lot of infrastructure to put in place, Kallas said.
TSM has previously featured a lineup consisting of the Danish star quartet of Peter “dupreeh” Rasmusen, Nicolai “device” Reedtz, Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth, and Finn “karrigan” Andersen who later on joined Astralis.
The North Americans’ most recent squad included the following players:
Skyler "Relyks" Weaver
Hunter "SicK" Mims
Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken
Kory “SEMPHIS” Friesen
Pujan “FNS” Mehta
