Profiled IGL returns to CS:GO in EG coaching position
daps join forces with the huge NA team and reunite with Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte and Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov.
In October 2020, Damian "daps" Steele left the Counter-Strike scene to pursue a career in Valorant, joining his former employer NRG. However, after eight months, the Canadian IGL has returned to CS:GO, as Evil Genius announce the signing of the renowned NA player.
The 27-year-old will not take up his usual in-game leader role, instead, he will replace Wilton "zews" Prado as the head coach, EG confirms on Twitter. The coaching position has been open since the start of this month, where the Brazilian coach announced his farewell from the big and famous team.
