PGL: We will be pressing charges against the disruptors
The Romanian tournament organizer has commented on tonight's stage invasion.
For the first time in history, a Counter-Strike match experienced an interruption caused by audience members. This unusual incident occurred during the Quarter-Final match between G2 and MOUZ, when a couple of spectators unexpectedly jumped onto the stage in the middle of the second map.
As depicted in a photo shared by Esports Bulgaria/Philip Stanchev, security swiftly intervened to apprehend the individuals, who purportedly aimed to draw attention to what they deem a fraudulent website currently promoted by G2. The intrusion onto the stage briefly halted the match, prompting a pause to allow security to regain control of the situation.
Following the conclusion of the match, PGL issued a tweet announcing their intention to pursue legal action against the disruptors.
