PGL has unveiled an ambitious plan for the next two years, announcing a global tournament circuit featuring more than ten major events across 2025 and 2026. 

Each tournament will boast an impressive $1.25 million prize pool and will serve as a Valve-ranked event, solidifying PGL’s commitment to the competitive CS2 scene. However, PGL confirms that none of them will have an open qualifier. 

In 2025, PGL's circuit will make stops in Buenos Aires, Bucharest, Astana, Belgrade, and China, bringing world-class competition to diverse locations. In a press release, PGL emphasized the evolution of the CS2 competitive landscape:

- The freedom for anyone to organize events opens up new possibilities for innovation and growth within the CS2 community. PGL is at the forefront of this transformation and is dedicated to maintaining the highest integrity, professionalism, and transparency standards in every hosted tournament, PGL states. 

PGL’s financial commitment to the Counter-Strike community totals $17 million, a substantial investment aimed at elevating the competitive scene. The Romanian tournament organizer also hinted at additional "surprises" in the 2025-2026 calendar, promising even more excitement for fans and players alike.
