OG sign promising rifler to complete their roster
Another young Israeli talent moves into the higher tiers of Counter-Strike.
21-year-old Nikita "HeavyGod" Martynenko has been revealed as a new acquisition on OG, rounding out the lineup after a roster shuffle this off-season. The Israelian rifler joins the international team from Endpoint, where he has shown a promising level throughout the last 12 months.
- Happy to announce that I've joined OG. Happy to be the 5th and to improve and reach the highest limits of this team. Really glad to be here. I’m going to show of what I am capable of, HeavyGod wrote on X following the announcement.
HeavyGod is the second newcomer on OG this winter, with the organization also having brought in the Belgian youngster Bram "Nexius" Campana from MOUZ NXT.
The young duo is set to replace the benched Dion “FASHR” Derksen and Nemanja “nexa” Isakovic, who left the team to sign with G2 in November.
Besides FASHR, OG also has the Russian AWPer Abdul “degster” Gasanov on the bench.
