Team Liquid secured their spot in the lower final at IEM Katowice 2023 after taking down Spirit 2-1 in the Group A lower bracket semi-final. The North American squad was successful in winning against Spirit on Nuke (16-12) and Anubis (16-11), following a 13-16 on Overpass to the Russians.

This victory was a crucial one for Team Liquid, as it allowed them to secure their place in the lower final against FaZe, which is set to take place today at 16:00 (CET).
