No second CS:GO Major trophy for s1mple; FaZe through to playoffs
After a fantastic comeback on Anubis, FaZe is now ready for the next stage at BLAST.tv Paris Major.
The champions from PGL Major Stockholm have been eliminated from the Paris Major as NAVI fall short against Finn “karrigan” Andersen and FaZe after a thrilling OT battle on Anubis.
In the important Bo3 series, we saw the European star squad take down the CIS giants in a competitive battle on Overpass, Mirage and lastly on Anubis, where especially the decider delivered an enormous amount of entertainment.
41 rounds and two OTs had to be played on Anubis before FaZe was crowned as the winner and secured a prestigious ticket to the Champions and playoff stage in Accor Arena later this week.
One player that NAVI missed heavily to step up throughout the series was their star player Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, who continued to underperform in the French capital - in what ended up being his last-ever match at a CS:GO Major.
