NIP remove yet another Swede from their roster
Another day, another roster shuffle.
One of the most hectic transfer shuffles in Counter-Strike history has just got another layer to it, with Ninjas in Pyjamas announcing the benching of Ludvig ”Brollan” Brolin this Saturday morning.
The removal of the 21-year-old rifler is the second roster move from NIP this week, following the recent benching of Brollan’s countryman Hampus “hampus” Poser, which saw Patrick “es3tag” Hansen re-join the Swedish team in his place.
Max “maxster” Jansson is set to continue being a temporary stand-in for Brollan, NIP has confirmed.
- Our second roster move is finalized and with that we decided to bench Brollan and give him the chance to look for other opportunities. Thank you, Ludvig, for the effort and passion you have brought to the team. We can't wait to see you shine as one of Sweden’s brightest stars, NIP has stated on today’s news.
IGL-signing expected to happen
Looking at the current roster composition and recent comments from NIP’s head coach Björn “THREAT” Pers, it looks like the Swedish organization will go for an in-game leader for the last spot on the roster.
"We are looking to set up a clear leader for the team. Patrick is doing a fantastic job being a temporary IGL right now, but we have a [long-term] solution set in the pipeline,” THREAT has said in an interview.
