nexa enters free agency: I want to continue my career as an in-game leader
Where will the former G2 captain land next?
Nemanja “nexa” Isaković is officially a free agent after parting ways with BLEED Esports, the Serbian rifler announced on Monday.
The former G2 and OG captain cut ties with the Singaporean organization, where he had been benched in September following just 2.5 months on the active roster.
While nexa has previously shifted between roles throughout his career, he made it clear in a post on X that he intends to take on the in-game leader (IGL) role moving forward.
- It's been a while since I’ve been on social media. But with the Major being over now I want to share that I am a free agent and looking to continue my career as an in-game leader. This year albeit not so successful has been a valuable learning experience and has given me a lot of clarity on how I can be the best version of myself, and how to be the person and the leader I want to be,” nexa wrote.
With the Major now concluded, the professional Counter-Strike scene is bracing for a comprehensive roster shuffle - a timing that could play to nexa’s advantage as he searches for a new team to call home.
