nexa benched by BLEED: Someone had to take a step back
What seemed like a perfect fit in July has faltered, as coach Aleksander “kassad” Trifunović benches his countryman after just 2.5 months.
Nemanja "nexa" Isaković has been removed from BLEED's active lineup with immediate effect, the Singaporean organization announced yesterday.
The Serbian rifler, who joined the team just 2.5 months ago, finds himself benched again, following a brief stint alongside coach Aleksander “kassad” Trifunović. Despite nexa’s pedigree, coming from a top-tier team like G2, he was unable to elevate BLEED's performance.
This culminated in the team’s failure to qualify for the European RMR ahead of the Shanghai Major later this year.
In a comment to HLTV, nexa reflects on the benching:
- There were a lot of different visions and approaches to the game prior to me joining, and I think my voice there added to the confusion.
- A lot of changes and uncertainty in a short amount of time regarding roles and positions just made it clear that someone had to take a step back. I am still eager, motivated and willing to play and compete, be it as just a rifler or also as an in-game leader, nexa said to HLTV.
