New update changes smoke in CS2
Valve announced another update to the limited test for the new Counter-Strike game.
CS:GO fans around the world are still waiting for their invitation for the beta test of Counter-Strike 2. The new game is supposedly being released this summer according to Valve, who are still making changes to the game.
In the latest update to the beta version of CS2, Valve has changed the way that smokes appear.
As seen in the video above, the volumetric smoke now behaves a little bit differently than what it did at the beginning of the beta test. A change that Astralis player Benjamin "blameF" Bremer applauded on X.
The new update also included Italy as a new map to play in Casual and Deathmatch modes, while Anubis and Ancient was removed alongside the possibility of playing competitive mode.
