New tournament schedule face criticism
BLAST and ESL have changed the schedule after the summer break.
Today both BLAST and ESL have announced changes to the tournament schedule in the fall.
The two tournament Organizers have taken a "unified approach to the scheduling of tournament dates, rulebook alignment, and integrity policies"
The changes have pushed forward the start of the tournament calendar in the fall with ESL Pro League Season 14 starting August the 16th instead of BLAST Premier Fall, which was scheduled to start ten days later August the 26th. This means that the tournament calendar will start the day after the end of the official summer break for the players (July 19th - August 15th).
Multiple players have lashed out at the changes, but have also faced criticism the other way around. The former Head of Esports Operation at North, Graham Pitt says, that it is up to the players if they want any changes.
