The first tier-1 CS:GO competition of 2023, BLAST Premier Spring, came to a close on January 29th in Copenhagen with twelve teams battling for a coveted spot in the season finale. The Esports Charts team analyzed the tournament's viewership, discovering a decline compared to previous years, but still impressive numbers with 13 million Hours Watched and an Average Viewership of 152.5K.

It was Natus Vincere, known as NAVI, that emerged as the tournament's most popular team. The squad accumulated a total of 4.4 million Hours Watched, while G2 Esports held the lead in Average Viewers per match. English was the preferred language among fans, taking up 65.5% of the total Hours Watched and reaching a Peak Viewership of 256.3K. Russian and Portuguese also ranked in the Top 3 languages for the tournament.

Streaming the tournament on over 40 channels, the most popular was the official English-language Twitch channel BLASTPremier, with 5.6 million Hours Watched and 157.7K Peak Viewers. The largest non-studio channel audience belonged to Gaules, with 31.9K Peak Viewers.

To sum it up, Natus Vincere was the clear fan-favorite at BLAST Premier Spring 2023, making a lasting impression with their impressive Hours Watched and Average Viewership. The tournament was a resounding success, setting the bar high for future CS:GO events.
