MSL and aizy find a new CS:GO home
The Danish duo were a part of the North squad that won DreamHack Masters Stockholm back in 2018.
Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen and Philip "aizy" Aistrup have put pen to paper on a contract with the lower-ranked organization Sashi Esports, the Danish team confirms on Twitter.
The former North duo is set to headline the roster that also features lesser-known players such as Mikkel “n1xen” Borlund, Mathias “Maccen” Madsen and Thomas “LUMSEN” Søhus Larsen.
Both MSL and aizy have been well-known figures in the competitive Counter-Strike scene having attended numerous top-tier events for teams like North, G2, FaZe, OpTic, and Dignitas.
However, the Danish duo haven’t been that relevant in recent years with both players having been either away from the higher tiers or without a team.
Sashi is currently ranked #182 in the world and is primarily playing in the Danish CS:GO league Power Ligaen.
