Movistar Riders buys Spanish rifler - DeathZz axed
The Spaniard's struggle to find their IEM Cologne form has already left them one man short.
Raúl "DeathZz" Jordán Nieto har departed the Movistar Riders roster after a difficult time in the second half of 2022.
The 26-year-old rifler was part of the hugely successful roster, that before the summer break won ESL Challenger Valencia and reached the Semi-Finals at IEM Cologne. But the failed attempt to qualify for the IEM Rio and the five losses at ESL Pro League Season 16 has shown another side of Movistar Riders, who has struggled to find their feets after the transfer of AWP'er Alvaro "SunPayus" Garcia to ENCE.
Shortly after the departure of DeathZz, 22-year-old Pere "sausol" Solsona Saumell was announced as his replacement.
The Spaniard is best known for his time with MAD Lions back in 2021. He is transfering from his latest team Partizan Esports.
His first match with his new team will be in Elisa Invitational Fall 2022 on Tuesday.
