MOUZ give Liquid a warm welcome in Rio!
A week of warmup in Rio was enough for MOUZ to make quick work of Team Liquid as they went on to dominate them out of the server.
MOUZ start their Legends Stage campaign with a bang!
Dexter and company have secured their first win in the Legends Stage, following a dominant 16-2 victory over the North American squad from Team Liquid, who struggled to find any foothold in the match on Inferno.
MOUZ started on the T-side, kicking off things strong with a pistol round win, which they kept on extending to the point where they found themselves up 9-0 on the scoreboard. Liquid were getting shut down all over the map, and only managed to grab two rounds before MOUZ finished off the first half with a massive 13-2 lead.
A tough beginning for Liquid ended up getting even tougher in the second half, as they weren’t able to add a single round to the scoreboard on the T-side before MOUZ left them wondering about what had just happened by closing out the game 16-2.
MOUZ were obviously firing on all cylinders and looked like a team everyone should be afraid of going forward. It will be exciting to see if Liquid will be able to bounce back in their next games after such a humiliation in their opening match.
