Just shy of $20 Million. That’s the total amount of prize money given out in competitive Counter-Strike in 2022.
And with the year reaching its end, we thought it would be interesting to take a look at which CS:GO teams have racked up the most money during the entire 2022 season.
Looking at the list, it comes as no surprise that it’s Finn “karrigan” Andersen and his FaZe squad who are on the very top of the list after a phenomenal performance this year – or should we say a phenomenal first half of the year.
Despite FaZe being the only team surpassing the $1 Million mark, their prize earnings could have been much higher if they managed to maintain their dominant level from the first six months, where they won massive titles as PGL Major Antwerp, IEM Katowice and ESL Pro League Season 15.
