Moses on NA CS: We don’t have any dedicated owners
Moses lashes out on NA organizations and their owners.
Jason “moses” O’Toole gives his say on what he believes the North American Counter-Strike scene is missing, in a show called ‘Counter-Points’ with the esports expert Thorin.
Moses states that the organizations and their owners aren’t dedicated and how they don’t show the right form for commitment in the way they build up their organization.
“All the orgs (organizations) are run by League of Legends or cod owners which is fine and I don’t mind that whatsoever. But to have an owner come in who doesn’t really understand Counter-Strike or the game or the scene and also not hiring some who has that understanding of the game.”
Is NA CS dying?
Liquid coach and former caster, moses doesn’t understand why no one invests in the NA scene, because he believes that the exact right time to enter the scene is right now.
“Now is the time to be investing in a North American Counter-Strike team. It has to be so cheap compared to the salaries of other top teams. And there are very few really established teams in Pro League. It might be hard and it might take a little bit of time, but you can buy cheap now and whether you sell players or whether it becomes a great success story, this is the time where you want to be doing it, but we don’t have any owners who are dedicated to it.
