A big achievement for the Mongolian squad as they win Thunderpick World Championships 2024 Finals.
The MongolZ have been crowned as the champions of Thunderpick World Championships 2024 Finals after taking down Heroic in the Grand Final this Sunday evening.
Besides securing the trophy, the Asian team also takes home a hefty prize earning amounting in no less than half a million dollars – the same amount as G2 won at the prestigious BLAST Premier World Final earlier today.
In today’s Best-of-five Grand Final, The MongolZ stood before a profiled Heroic squad that arrived in great shape at the Berlin LAN tournament after fine results at IEM Rio and Elisa Masters Espoo.
Nonetheless, it was The MongolZ who was presenting the best Counter-Strike on the server in the title-decider, which the confident 3-1 score also reveals. Especially on the fourth map of Mirage, where Garidmagnai “bLitz” Byambasuren and the rest of the Mongolians were firing on all cylinders smashing Heroic 13-2.
