Legendary organization returns to CS:GO
Begrip Gaming is back!
Begrip Gaming which is one of Sweden’s most legendary and iconic organizations is back.
The organization was founded back in 2000 and was known for being a talent factory in the Swedish scene with many well-known players like Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund and Patrick “f0rest” Lindberg starting their careers under the Begrip banner.
Throughout the years in the world of Counter-Strike, there's been plenty of attempts from organizations to bring themselves back to their former level. However, this has not been achieved by Begrip Gaming. Now, they're planning to change that, Andreas "krypt" Naaman, CEO of Begrip, said to Fragbite.
"We have gone back to our old roots which originated in the Swedish scene in Counter-Strike where Begrip will raise up talents on an international level. There are many organizations that have lost hope in the Swedish scene, but Begrip has not."
Begrip Gaming will present a CS:GO team in the near future, but reportedly they’re also interested in other areas of esports. The organization has also told Fragbite that they would organize LAN and online tournaments in the next year.
After dissolving in 2014, the Begrip trademark was acquired by krypt, and the organization relaunched in 2020.
