kassad: We tried bidding for the BLAST spot
The Singaporean organization BLEED was one of the candidates to replace Evil Geniuses.
The new head coach for the Singaporean organization BLEED, Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunović has been very open regarding the transfers and business of the team, that are looking to enter the CS2 circuit in 2024. With four players signed during the past month, BLEED will look to complete the roster before the start of the online qualification tournaments, where teams will get a chance to qualify for the closed qualifiers for the PGL Copenhagen Major later this year.
The Copenhagen Major is not the only tournament that BLEED has set its eyes on though. According to the Serbian head coach Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunović, BLEED also tried to make a bid for the vacant spot at the BLAST Premier series. A spot that was taken over by Cloud9, after Evil Geniuses had withdrawn from the partnership tournament.
BLAST and ESL's partnership tournaments will have to be revised for the 2025 season after Valve announced the end of partnership tournaments last summer.
BLEED is expected to announce the last piece of puzzle soon. So far the team consist of:
Josef "faveN" Baumann
Laurențiu "lauNX" Țârlea
Hampus "hampus" Poser
Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov
