karrigan: I want to be one of the few players to have won tier-1 tournaments in three different games
The FaZe captain is not done yet.
Finn “karrigan” Andersen has won nearly everything possible in Counter-Strike, he’s 33 years old and has competed professionally since 2006.
However, the Danish in-game leader will not hang up his mouse anytime soon, as he set his sight on the upcoming Counter-Strike 2.
- I want to be one of the few players in the world to have won a tier-1 tournament in three different [Counter-Strike] games. So, I’m not going anywhere, and the plan is to re-sign and grind a lot for the next Major, karrigan assures in an interview with James Banks and BLAST.
"CS:GO is all my life"
karrigan's and FaZe's quarterfinal defeat yesterday against Heroic at the Paris Major marked the conclusion of a remarkable and extensive journey in CS:GO Majors, where we saw him compete in a total of 16 Majors and winning one trophy himself in Antwerp last year.
In the interview with Banks, karrigan also touches on what CS:GO has meant for him throughout his career.
- CS:GO is all my life. The highs, the lows. I have learned so much about life through the game, meeting a lot of great friends and fantastic fans, and playing in an arena like this, is a dream come true. Obviously, you lose sometimes, and you have to learn – that also goes for life.
- Counter-Strike has been in my life for two decades now and I always want to come here and it’s every day a dream come true. And I just want to say thanks to all the fans that make this life possible for me. I appreciate it.
