karrigan before Vitality: We’re going into the match as underdogs again
In an interview with Pley, Finn "karrigan" Andersen touches on the upcoming battle, the importance of a well-playing broky and more.
The first semifinal at the Copenhagen Major is set to feature two of the strongest teams in the world, with the reining Major champions from Vitality taking on Finn “karrigan” Andersen and the rest of FaZe this Saturday.
Before today’s brawl, we got the chance to speak with karrigan about the match and why he believes FaZe is the underdogs despite beating donk and Spirit the other night.
- I see this matchup against Vitality as very hard. Same as with Spirit, it’s a team we have had problems with. We beat them in Sydney, but the last two times we haven’t got a map against them. But I think this confidence boost from beating Spirit can help us. We overcame the first demon; the next one is Vitality.
- Vitality is going to feel confident coming into this game, but if they’re underestimating us that would be dangerous. But I think they know by now that we can show up and be a little bit crazy and ‘poco loco’. We need that as well. In the end, I think it’s a 50/50 match – maybe with a slight advantage for Vitality due to our previous results. So yeah, going into the game as an underdog again, I will enjoy that.
