Confirmed: IEM Fall will feature the new CS:GO updates and changes
It will be exciting to see which players and teams have adapted the fastest to the new update.
ESL has just confirmed that that the upcoming Regional Major Ranking event IEM Fall will be played with the latest version of CS:GO, meaning that all the changes and modifications from Operation Riptide will feature at the important tournament.
- As a Valve-sanctioned tournament, IEM Fall will run on the latest version of CS:GO. Dropping utility, the updated versions of Dust2 and Ancient and all other changes made by the latest updates will be in effect, ESL states on Twitter.
IEM Fall is set to be played from September 29th to October 10th and is the last RMR event before the PGL Major in Stockholm next month. That means that IEM Fall will be the last chance for the teams to gather important RMR points for the standings.
With the recent news today concerning the new CS:GO update, it means that the reworked version of Dust2, the nerfed Deagle, but most importantly the dropable grenades will apply for the players and teams.
