HUNDEN and company sign former Astralis rifler
The Danish organization announced the signing of Alexander “Altekz” Givskov just days after coming home from the European RMR in China.
Fresh off their RMR exit in Shanghai, Sashi has wasted no time revamping their roster.
Joining the Danish organization is 21-year-old Alexander “Altekz” Givskov, who will take the place of Oliver “kwezz” Rasmussen in the active lineup.
Head coach Nicolai “HUNDEN” Petersen has addressed the roster change in a statement, citing underwhelming results this season as the primary reason for the shake-up.
-The results in the autumn period have not lived up to the common goal we have set for the team. We decided to give it some time to see if things could be improved upon, but ultimately, we had to make the hard decision to make a roster change, HUNDEN wrote on X.
Altekz has previously represented both Astralis and their academy team
The coach also emphasized his familiarity with Altekz, having worked with the now-former TSM rifler during their shared tenure at Astralis in 2023.
-I personally know Altekz from our joint time together at Astralis, where he left me with a really good impression in terms of his skills and mindset. Altekz is great at being proactive, and he has a lot to offer when it comes to bringing new ideas to the table. Adding a good amount of firepower to this equation, and we have a really exciting signing for our team, and we are looking forward to the future with this new addition, HUNDEN stated.
Altekz arrives in Sashi after a short period on the bench at TSM, as he saw himself being demoted in September. Before joining TSM, the Dane represented Preasy, Astralis, Astralis Talent and Masonic.
The 21-year-old rifler has also played two online events as a stand-in with Sashi this season.
