Huge blow for Spirit! donk and magixx to miss BLAST Spring Groups
The highest-rated player in Counter-Strike 2 will not be present at the top-tier event.
The Russian dragons from Spirit must do without Boris “magixx” Vorobiev and their young star rifler Danil “donk” Kryshkovets at BLAST Premier Spring Groups in the coming week.
In a statement on X, Spirit explain that the duo are set to miss the Copenhagen-based tournament due to visa problems.
Head coach Sergey “hally” Shavaev and Spirit Academy player Oleg “baz” Kulynych will be the replacements, the organization revealed in the same statement.
This serves as a huge blow for Spirit at the BLAST Premier Spring Groups, as they will miss their by far highest-rated player in donk and a super experienced figure in magixx. Players, who could have made a difference in Group B, where Spirit is placed together with FaZe, Liquid and GamerLegion.
BLAST Premier Spring Groups is set to kick on Monday at 12:00 (CET).
