Cheaters in CS:GO matchmaking has been a long time frustration for a lot of gamers around the world.

Valve recently admitted, that their matchmaking was not working the intended way and that they had now fixed the issue.

Now the first wave of bans has been detected by the website ConVars.com. A dramatic rise in "game bans" have appeared, which is generally a sign of the Overwatch programme in action contra Valve's Anti Cheat (VAC). 

9889 users have been banned today. The number was 597 yesterday and only 61 on Thursday.
