Both Astralis, Ninjas In Pyjamas, and ENCE have struggled to find success during 2022. Three of the four top teams from Scandinavia had a difficult 2022, but the Danes from Heroic found success during the last three months of the year. The young guns led by Casper "cadiaN" Møller managed to end the year at the no.1 spot on the HLTV world ranking list.
Despite Heroic being number one in the world, Astralis´star rifler Benjamin "blameF" Bremers the highest rated player in Scandinavia. The 25-year-old managed to pull off a carer high 1.24 rating despite playing for the mighty Astralis who could find the right line-up throughout the entire season.
