Here are the teams invited for the closed BLAST Paris qualifier
The competition for the RMR promises to be intense.
Valve has recently updated their Regional Rankings and the invites for the BLAST Paris Major RMR Closed Qualifiers have been determined. The closed qualifier will feature teams from different regions of the world, and the top teams from each region will move on to the BLAST Paris Major RMR.
It’s worth noting that South American teams residing in North America may be subject to receiving North American invites depending on BLAST/Valve’s decisions. At this time, it is unclear whether South African teams will actually receive invites to the closed qualifier, BLAST revealed on Twitter.
The Europa Qualifier A will feature some big and well-known teams in the region, including G2, Astralis, 9INE, Copenhagen Flames, SAW, HAVU, 1win, and IKLA. These teams will battle it out for a spot in the BLAST Paris Major RMR.
The Europe Qualifier B will also be filled with strong competition, as OG, Aurora, GamerLegion, forZe, MONTE, Falcon, Apeks, and Illuminar are all set to participate.
North American Qualifier will be just as intense, with Complexity, EG, Nouns Esports, ATK, Vendetta, Strife, DETONATE, and Timbermen all battling it out.
The South America Qualifier will see MIBR, paiN, Fluxo, TeamOne, 00Nation, 9z, Imperial, and Sharks competing.
Asian Qualifier will feature teams from the region such as IHC, Team NKT, Eruption, and Clutch Gaming.
In the Oceania Qualifier, Grayhound, Rooster, Vertex, and Encore will all be taking upon each other for a spot in the BLAST Paris Major RMR.
The China Qualifier will feature Lynn Vision, Rare Atom, HaoSheng, and Wings Up.
Finally, the Middle East/Rest of World Qualifier will feature Invictus Gaming and Goliath Gaming. It is important to note that Nixus and Bravado have since disbanded and may forfeit their invites for the Closed Qualifier.
