GuardiaN does it again – the Slovakian beast wins another 1v5 on Overpass
The former FaZe superstar replicates his iconic play against fnatic on stream.
It’s the 4th of March 2018. A star-studded FaZe side took upon the Swedish legends from fnatic, in an action-packed Grand Final at ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2017.
FaZe are in trouble, they have just lost an OT thriller on Inferno, and with 8 rounds in Overpass, Finn “karrigan” Andersen and his troops are down 6-2. However, FaZe’s Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács is built different, and his miraculous 1v5 ace, in the 9th round, proves just that. The superstar AWPer took down every fnatic player, even though, the round looked done and dusted, and created one of the most iconic plays in the history of CS:GO.
And now nearly 3 years later, the 29-year old Slovak has replicated his iconic play on his own stream, winning yet another 1v5. The stage isn’t a Grand Final at a huge event and the opponents aren’t multiple major winners, but the play is still very impressive.
GuardiaN is currently on contract with Natus Vincere, however, the dedicated AWPer hasn't featured in an official match for the Russian CIS giants in 2020.
He might be a veteran and a player who has competed for ages, but his talents speak for himself.
Another ace from the stream.
