groove steps down as Sports Director at Gambit
The 39-year-old Russian has been appointed as a permanent coach for Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov and company.
Konstantin “groove” Piknier has left his position as Sports Director at Gambit, the Russian organization confirms on Twitter this Wednesday evening. The 39-year-old Russian will instead take on a coaching role for the star-studded CIS youngsters.
groove is no stranger to the coaching job with him having coached both Gambit Youngsters and the main team for several occasions, before taking a job in Gambit's upper management.
Most recently, groove has taken over as head coach from Ivan "F_1N" Kochugov, due to his suspension for all Valve-organized events, which he received together with his ESIC ban.
