GODSENT bench two players on their roster
The historic organization is switching up the lineup only weeks into the new Counter-Strike 2 era.
The Swedes from GODSENT are making a significant overhaul of their Counter-Strike roster, as they announce the benching of the in-game leader Erik “ZTR” Gustafsson and AWPer Johan “Hype” Engblom.
The latter did not feature in a single official match for the team after coming on the ship in August.
GODSENT explain in a statement that the reason for Hype’s benching is due to “personal reasons” and that they “wish him the best and hope for his swift return to professional play.” Furthermore, they state that their veteran Maikil “Golden” Selim is set to take over the IGL reigns from ZTR.
Replacements are ready
GODSENT already have two replacements prepared to fill out the void from the young duo, the Swedish organization have informed. The first is the former GamerLegion AWPer Sean "eraa" Knutsson who has been a stand-in for Hype, with the last edition being announced later this week.
