German organization leaves CS:GO
cowana has decided to close its doors and the players are free to find new teams.
The German organization, cowana gaming that entered the CS:GO scene in March 2020 has announced that it leaves Counter-Strike. In a TwitLonger post, the German organization stated that the effects of the international crises made a large part of their business no longer executable.
“Unfortunately, we felt the effects of the international crises and a large part of our business was no longer executable. The protracted nature of these circumstances has led us to decide to discontinue the trip at the end of the year.” – cowana via TwitLonger.
All of cowana gaming’s players have been allowed to search for a new team and are free to move at any time without a transfer fee. Even though their contracts run until the end of the year, cowana gaming has decided that it’s best to allow the players to leave early.
In the TiwtLonger post, cowana also stated that they will make sure that any outstanding balances are paid by the end of the year.
“All existing players, managers, and co. are free to move at any time without a transfer fee. Our contracts run until the end of the year, but everyone is free to leave early. We will make sure that any outstanding balances are paid by the end of the year.”
