The Counter-Strike action is finally underway at the Elimination Stage of Perfect World Shanghai Major, with the first round having kicked off this Thursday morning.

In this stage, all the top dogs and tournament favourites enter the competition as they square up against the victors from the Opening Stage.

Despite the better seed, we saw the star-studded G2 squad and Spirit fall short in their respective openers today, losing to The MongolZ and FURIA.

Especially Spirit got their ass kicked with the Brazilians from FURIA crushing over Danil “donk” Kryshkovets and company on Dust2, taking home the map with a 13-6 victory.
