G2 enters womens Counter-Strike
The organization is entering the world of women’s Counter-Strike with their newly formed G2 OYA.
G2 Esports has announced that they will be entering the world of women’s Counter-Strike with their newly formed team, G2 OYA. The roster will be made up of some of the most talented female players in the game, including Zainab “zAAz” Turkie, Julia “juliano” Kiran, Oleksandra “manka” Kruspe, Anastasia “kr4sy” Khobystina, Aleksandra “kyossa” Tychanska, and coach Jimmy “Jumpy” Berndtsson. The team is looking to make a major impact in the scene, and according to juliano, they have the raw talent to achieve great things. In a statement released after the announcement, she said, “It is an incredible feeling and I’m so excited about what we will achieve. We have brought together some insane raw talents to complete our lineup and there is no doubt in my mind that you’ll see us all lift a trophy together.”
G2 has a long history of success in esports, with teams competing in games such as League of Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, and Rocket League besides Counter-Strike. With the addition of G2 OYA, the organization is looking to expand its reach into the growing world of women’s esports.
