FURIA locks in Major spot with victory over North Americans
The Brazilian Panthers haven't missed a Counter-Strike Major since 2019.
FURIA has booked a spot at the upcoming Perfect World Shanghai Major after taking home seventh place at the Americas RMR.
That became a fact this Friday when the Brazilians defeated M80 2-0 in a crucial decider match, crushing the Major hopes for Michael 'Swisher' Schmid and company.
The Bo3 battle ended up being a rather one-sided affair with FURIA in the driving seat throughout the entire series.
On neither Anubis (13-8) nor Vertigo (13-10), M80 managed to get on double digits, setting up a dominant win for the Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo-led squad.
