frozen: When ropz is feeling it, it’s absolute cinema to watch
The former MOUZ duo was clearly too big of a task for Liquid in the BLAST Premier Fall Final quarterfinal.

FaZe Clan left no doubt about their dominance when they faced off against Liquid in the BLAST Premier Fall Final on Friday evening.
With two crushing defeats on Inferno (13-6) and Mirage (13-3), Liquid was swiftly eliminated from the Copenhagen-based tournament by Finn "karrigan" Andersen and his FaZe squad.
Post-match interview
We had the chance to catch up with FaZe rifler David "frozen" Čerňanský after their dominant performance to discuss the team's resurgence, karrigan’s calling, and most notably, the masterclass put on by Robin “ropz” Kool.
- It was a good game. A dominant win, as you said. We haven’t been in the best spot lately, so it’s good that we can show this level again, and I just hope we can keep it up. We didn’t prepare anything specific for today. After every match – either win or lose – we reevaluate and try to implement some new stuff. But I also think Liquid didn’t start the match the way that they wanted, I would say, frozen said to Pley.gg.
"Pretty fucking good"
During our interview with frozen, the Slovakian star also got the chance to praise his captain and fellow FaZe rifler Robin “ropz” Kool.
- Finn’s [karrigan] calling was magnifique today. It was picture-perfect, maybe on Inferno, we lost some forcebuys here and there. That’s how it is, but yeah, calling-wise it was pretty fucking good.
Question: Pretty fucking good? Let’s talk about ropz then, because he had a stellar match today. Can you put some words on his level this evening?
- When Robin [ropz] is feeling it, it’s absolute cinema to watch. I’m just happy for him that he has this kind of performance, and I hope he continues to destroy people.
Is there something in his game that has changed lately?
- I’m not really sure. I think that’s maybe more a question to him, but I think we’re just trying to be there for him and help him with whatever he needs.
NAVI await you and the team in the semifinal – the best team in the world right now. How do you see that match?
- They are the number one team in the world right now and they took the Major from us, so there’s some revenge to do. I think we also lost to them at the Esports World Cup if I’m not mistaken. But I’m just looking forward to the game, to be honest, and I think if we play like we did today – or even better – then it will be a great game.
