Former North trio in search for new org

The ex-North trio of Philip “aizy” Aistrup, Markus “Kjaerbye” Kjærbye, and Nicklas “gade” Gade have decided to get back together and team up in the search for an organization to represent. The new project also includes “Johannes “b0RUP” Borup and Frederik “Fessor” Sørensen, the players have revealed.

gade and aizy are still tied to the closed Danish organization while the latter will be allowed to leave for free, the players have told HLTV.org.

“Since North ceased operations I had been talking back and forth with Kjaerbye and aizy about how we wanted to reunite and build a new team. We wanted to find our approach to the game and establish what type of players we wanted to play with and what we would like to accomplish and gain from this project. I think all of us aligned our expectations and standards, which is a really good thing.” gade said.

But Kjaerbye and aizy are not the only familiar faces for gade in the new project as he also will reunite with b0RUP after the two played under the same banner in Singularity and North Academy from 2016-2018. Fessor is the least experienced player on the roster as he only has two matches on his record since joining BLUEJAYS at the start of February, but gade believes he has what it takes to grow into a top player on the big scene.

“b0RUP and I go way back, and we always joked about playing in the same team again. I am super happy that this has finally become a reality. Fessor is a rising star, and the decision to pick him up was a no-brainer.”

“It’s a rough situation with the pandemic and organizations jumping into other games, but I do believe that good things come to those who are patient and hardworking. Right now it’s about developing and performing so that we can have a breakthrough.” gade said.
