fer: I think it would be very cool to be a streamer
Have we seen the last competitive CS:GO action from the Brazilian legend?
The Brazilian player Fernando “fer” Alvarenga has been a decorated figure in CS:GO for ages, having won multiple major championships, making him a living legend inside the game. However, fer has been without a team since the mid-September, where MIBR decided to cut the 29-year old individual.

The former SK and Luminosity player has now hinted towards a potential retirement from competitive CS:GO. In a stream last week, alongside Brazilian CS:GO personality Alexandre "gAuLeS" Chiqueta, fer touched on the possibility to join a new team, but also how he might retire to develop into a full-time streamer.
"I really want to play, to grow, to win everything again," he said. "But I do not have the time to spend a year and half playing from the bottom to work my way up and then have a shot at winning. I do not think it will be good for my career to end that way.
"I think it would be very cool to be a streamer. I love streaming. If I retire and become a streamer, I'll be happy, too. I'd probably earn four times as much money as I do as a player, playing from home, four, five, six hours a day, without people criticising me." - fer said.

The legendary rifler has recently featured for BOOM Esports, when he stood as a stand-in at FlowFiReLEAGUE Global Finals last month. Yet, fer himself has multiple times rejected a potential permanent move to the Indonesian organization.
