FaZe got revenge over NAVI and Liquid dodged a bullet in Malta
The quarter-finals at ESL Pro League have all been set.
After a devastating loss in the Grand Final at PGL Copenhagen Major, FaZe claimed their revenge yesterday by beating NAVI at ESL Pro League Season 19. Not only did Finn “karrigan” Andersen and company defeat the reigning Major winners, they also eliminated them from the competition.
And as FaZe rifler, David "frozen" Čerňanský, laid it out after the match:
“It was personal. It was fucking personal”
The favourites prevailed
In the three other playoff matches on Wednesday, we saw Liquid, G2 and Virtus.pro all take down their respective opponents to book a spot in the quarterfinals in Malta.
However, it wasn’t without a fight with the underdogs in FlyQuest, 3DMAX and TheMongolz putting up a strong fight against the star-studded tier-1 teams.
